Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SoLo Family Plan needs to operate a private shared household workspace.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Our Relationship with SoLoVision

SoLo Family Plan is a product of SoLoVision LLC. This policy describes privacy practices specific to SoLo Family Plan and supplements the master SoLoVision Privacy Policy. The master policy explains SoLoVision's broader data protection practices.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information, including email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and profile image.
  • Household membership, invitations, roles, family member profiles, and settings.
  • Calendars, chores, rewards, meals, recipes and optional dietary notes, grocery lists, messages, notes, memories, user-entered memory locations, photos, and documents.
  • Notification preferences, device registration information, and subscription status.
  • Support conversations and the technical context you choose to share while requesting help.
  • Basic service and reliability data when configured analytics or diagnostic tools are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • authenticate members and keep each household workspace scoped to its members;
  • synchronize shared plans, deliver notifications, and provide requested features;
  • maintain subscription status and provide customer support;
  • detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve security and reliability; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce the service terms.

We do not sell household planning content or share it for advertising.

4. Household Visibility

Shared household content is visible to authenticated household members according to their role and the feature's access rules. Household owners and managers control invitations and membership. Authorized service operations may access data when needed to operate, secure, or support the service.

5. Services That Process Data

  • Supabase provides authentication, database, and storage services.
  • Stripe processes checkout and payment details. SoLo Family Plan receives subscription status and identifiers.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging processes device registration information needed for optional push notifications.
  • Sentry processes limited crash, diagnostic, and performance data when production observability is enabled.
  • Chatwoot supports customer conversations when the support widget is configured.
  • SoLo Family Plan records a random session identifier, acquisition milestones, and the public page path in a private Supabase table. These funnel records exclude names, email addresses, account IDs, query strings, IP addresses, and browser user-agent details. A short-lived copy of the random identifier in first-party browser storage is valid for up to 24 hours so an email verification tab can continue the same signup session. An expired copy is removed on the next app visit.
  • Cloudflare supports site delivery, security, and basic traffic measurement.

When you choose to use Family AI, the request and household context needed to answer it are sent to the AI provider configured for that feature. Connected provider credentials and managed provider access are handled separately. Avoid including private information that is not needed for the request.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain account and household information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, support, accounting, or legal purposes. Review the account deletion instructions to request deletion of an account, household, or covered data. We may need to verify the request and the requester's authority over the household. Some billing, security, or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

7. Security

SoLo Family Plan uses authenticated sessions, household-scoped server checks, database access policies, and private storage controls to limit access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Visit our Security page to learn more or report a concern.

8. Children and Family Accounts

SoLo Family Plan accounts and household workspaces are created and managed by adults. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage a child profile inside that adult-managed household. A child under 13 may not create or use an independent account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 through an independent account. The adult manager controls the child profile and may contact us to access, correct, or delete the child's information.

9. Policy Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when the product, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, email [email protected].
